Wearable technology has made lives of people easy with watches, glasses and gradually they turned out to fashionable accessories also. But now something we are getting, which is health conscious too. Recently Lumo BodyTech announced during the 2014 International CES show a small gadget that warns and informs you to stand up straight.
The Lumo Lift is available in variety of colors. It detects your body's positioning and when you start to move, the device vibrates and reminds you to adjust your position. The Lift can be kept to an undershirt, collar or bra strap or where ever you want it to work upon.
Lumo BodyTech is looking to crowdfund the project on its website, LumoBodyTech.com. The product is the latest product in the company's lineup of posture correcting devices, but this is its smallest gadget yet available in the world. Lumo BodyTech said it expects to officially launch the Lift in late spring and it expects it'll cost $59-$79.
Company spoke person says "Wearable technology should be visually appealing and also provide the option to be worn discretely. Anything we wear has the potential to become wearable technology, including smart jewelry, smart clothes, and smart shoes."
Lets see how does it help us to keep our body posture to correct position.
