Facebook Launches Instant Games To Messenger

Instant Messenger companies are trying to attract its users in different innovative ways like introducing video call facility, providing animated emoticons etc. Now Facebook Messenger has introduced "games" on its app which will engage you even more time on its messenger.

Facebook announced games such as Pac-Man, Space Invaders, Galaga, EverWing, TRACK & FIELD 100M and Words with Friends: Frenzy and another few are now available on the latest version of its Messenger app. It is very easy option to start with as you just have to open a conversation with a friend, tap a game controller icon and then select what game you want to play.

Messenger product manager Andrea Vaccari said in a blog post, “After you finish a round, people in the conversation will see your score and will have the opportunity to challenge you back.” The blog also revealed that “People can also discover games within the Messenger search field, or on Facebook News Feed where they can play solo or challenge friends back in Messenger. Games on Messenger are the first to be rolled out on Facebook’s new Instant Games cross-platform gaming experience.”

Facebook Messenger Offers Free Group Calls

Facebook is adding an awesome feature to Messenger in its latest update. Now, you can make group calls for free via Messenger on your Android or iOS devices. Facebook messaging products vice-president David Marcus, who made the announcement on his wall Wednesday, said the feature is rolling out over the next 24 hours, meaning all Facebook users should be able to use the new feature as of this afternoon.

“Really excited to announce the global roll out of group calling in Messenger today. From any group conversations, just tap on the phone icon to initiate a group call. You can then manage individual participants on the next screen,” he said in his post.

Now lets leverage this new feature while in group conversation.
