Twitter Crosses The Half-Billion Users

In a recent study conducted by social media monitor Semiocast, micro-blogging site Twitter has been found to have over 500 million users. It also said that Americans and Brazilians account for the most users in the world. The social media site crossed the half a billion users mark by the end of June, as the United States accounted for both the most users and largest number of tweets.
