Vine has now provides iOS users and option with the ability to create videos their way. This twitter-owned app is likely to make a big change in imaging and editing options though a lot of apps are already present in the market. It will allow users to create their own six-second clips from pre-existing videos for the first time.

Vine Introduces Camera and Editing Tools For iOS

Vine said in a blog post. “The new camera offers powerful ways to edit your videos as well as the ability to import existing videos on your phone and turn them into Vines. Simply put, this release gives you total creative freedom –– and it’s all within the app. In addition to your phone’s front- and rear-facing cameras, you now have another source for your Vines: you can import existing videos from your phone.”

iOS users can see a new option in the bottom left corner of the capture screen that can import a video. Users can make a single video or mix various clips together. Even slow motion videos are now supported as well. If you want to edit the videos then it will be an easier task now. You have to tap the scissors icon from the preview screen to edit a video. Additional tools include duplicate button, the mute button and the preview and undo button.

In case you want to access more tools, tap the wrench from the capture screen. It brings up a “second layer” of camera tools: “a grid, plus a new level; the focus lock, which now works with the front-facing camera in addition to the rear-facing camera; ghost mode, which shows you the last frame of your previous shot (and is super helpful for lining up shots!); and a new torch feature, so you can now shoot in low-light settings.”

Vine for iOS is available for download.  The app will be released on Android in near future.

Vine Redesigned Website With Easier Navigation For Users

Finally the worldwide popular six-second video sharing network has redesigned its website after getting so many suggestions from its users by expanding beyond mobile devices. Vine explained in a blog post on Thursday that the network has given itself a new look to make the site to use on a computer as it is on cellphones quite easily.

Vine Redesigned Website For Easier Navigation

Web lead Janessa Det quoted saying that “We’ve heard from the Vine community that you sometimes want to explore Vine and view videos on your computer too. Today, we’re excited to introduce a brand-new version of vine.co, which adds a bunch of new features that will help you find and discover Vine videos on the Web.”

It provides an easier-to-navigate format with the Explore page being front and center. This particular page allows visitors and users to easily find popular feature channels such as Places and Animals. There’s new sections enabling users to find hand-curated content so videos and accounts can easily be found.

The best part of the website is the new search bar. It is programmed and designed in such a manner that users can find what they’re looking for and search by using users’ names, tags and even a location very effectively.

Vine was launched in June 2012 and was acquired by Twitter after few months. But the best part of the Vine is that it has become the most used video-sharing application in the market.
